Abstract

High standards of medical education are
imperative for high standards of medical practice.
Every country developed or under developed has set
mechanism of ensuring high standards of medical
education and practice. So for the relatively good
standard of medical education both at undergraduate
and postgraduate level in this country is maintained at
the public sector facilities with few odd exceptions. The
commercialization of undergraduate medical education
in general is pushing the standard facilities and faculties.
They are producing substandard and non committed
doctors who have to quee up for house job in public
sector hospitals as their own so called teaching hospital
are without facilities and faculties.
